Why do I like this series? I enjoy it because of Izumi - a sheltered, spoiled character who is faced with making his own decisions for bad or for worse for the first time. And he makes it really entertaining to watch. I hope the anime delivers and lives up to the manga!
I've also watched two more episodes of Baby Steps. More goodness and great tennis and Ei-chan's weird hair. What I've also noticed is that the previews for the next episode are little pieces of genius: the voice-over matches perfectly with the clips for the next week, down to lips moving, which is quite rare! Whoo hoo! Another reason to rate this series.
